The Work We Take On
Most of the houses we're called out to were built between 1938 and 2014, with the typical home in this area going up around 1957. That means a lot of original hardware that's decades past its intended life: torsion springs sized for doors half the weight of what's hung on them now, openers with worn gears, and tracks that have shifted as houses settle.
Winters here are genuinely cold, and cold makes every weak point in a garage door worse, a spring that's been fine all summer can snap the first hard freeze, and steel panels contract enough to bind in tracks that were already a little off. We handle spring replacement, opener repair and replacement, track and roller work, cable repair, and panel damage.
One limit worth naming: if a door is old enough and damaged enough that we'd be chasing parts for hardware nobody makes anymore, we'll tell you replacement is the better call rather than billing you for a repair that won't hold. That's not the answer everyone wants to hear, but it's the honest one.

Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
We don't run 24-hour dispatch. If you call outside business hours, leave a message and we'll get back to you. Most garage door problems, even a snapped spring, are safe to leave alone overnight if you don't force the door.
How far out from Washington, PA do you go?
We regularly serve towns from Meadowlands and Canton just 3 miles out to Jefferson and Burgettstown around 16-17 miles away. If your town isn't on our usual list, call and ask, we can often still fit you in.
My house is older, will you have parts for my door?
A lot of homes in this area date to the 1950s and earlier, so we see a fair amount of original hardware. Some of it we can service directly; some of it is old enough that replacement makes more sense than hunting for discontinued parts.
What information do you need when I call?
Tell us the approximate age of the door, what it's doing (won't open, makes noise, sags on one side), and whether you can see a broken spring or loose cable. That helps us give you a realistic time estimate before we arrive.
